Horse’s Speed and Jumping Ability

Each horse has a speed between 4.74 blocks per second to up to an astounding 14.23 blocks per second, while both of these are faster than the players walking speed the 4.74 blocks per second is very close to the player’s own walking speed which is 4.3 blocks per second. The slowest horse is similar to the player’s walking speed means that players should look for a fast horse before trying to tame it and give it one of your valuable saddles.

Taming a Horse

Taming a horse is required is the player wants to breed it, give the horse equipment, or control it while riding. To tame a horse, players will need to press use in it with an empty hand, and while the Horse will buck the player off numerous times after each time, the temper of the Horse will increase by five. The Horse begins with a temper of zero out of one hundred, after the initial time the player tries to mount the Horse, a random taming threshold from zero to ninety-nine is chosen. The Horse becomes tame if the temper exceeds the limit. Another way horses can have their temper increased is by feeding the Horse.

After attaching the saddle, the player can easily control the horse and move using the same WASD keys that the player would typically use to move around the Minecraft world. These majestic animals have a charging jump, and to see the current level of jump charged, players should look where their previous EXP bar was located.

When being ridden, these animals can be made to jump and holding the control charges for a higher leap; in addition to that fact, the jump can not be affected by jump boost beacons or potions. When being ridden in water deeper into two blocks, the player will be automatically kicked off of the horse, and in deep water, the player will be unable to ride the horse. Nether Portals do not transfer the riding player into the Nether instead to get both the player and the animal into that dimensions, and players will need to be on its own with a lead dragging the horse through the Nether portal.

How to Breed a Horse

The foal will grow into an adult horse within twenty minutes is no food is given to it by the player, Giving the foal an apple will reduce the time by a minute while feeding the foal a golden apple will reduce the time by a total of four minutes. Horses can be bred with more than just other horses, and they can be bred with a donkey to produce a mule foal.
